Flamingo Candles Espresso jar candle

Flamingo Candles Espresso Jar Candle

Everyone seems to be thrilled that Autumn is approaching rapidly and I’m no different. Autumn is about chunky knitwear, berry lipstick, leather boots, blankets, and candles – and I have a candle that I’ve been dying to burn for months. I bought the Espresso jar candle when Flamingo Candles had a half-price sale earlier in the year and I’m really glad that it’s finally chilly enough to light it without it feeling highly unseasonal.

The Flamingo jar candles come in – wait for it – a jar adorned with a rather sweet perspex flamingo. They’re soy wax, which is my preference, and promise an average of 50 hours burn time, which is really pretty good for the price. They burn evenly, provided that you allow them to always melt all the way across the surface, and I like that the lid keeps the dust out.

The espresso scent is gorgeous – possibly sweeter than I would usually choose but rich and deep, with vanilla notes. It’s super warm and cosy, a bit like a hug in a jar for coffee-lovers. My summer scent preferences are either citrusy or figgy, so something this comforting makes a nice change.

Find this, and loads of other scents, here. They’re £12 each, and well worth it.
